Welcome to the homepage of Richard Nice maker of Nice Guitars. I specialises in making individual guitars to customers’ specifications. You will notice that I don’t have a range of guitars that I make and then customize and sell to you. My approach is that I make your handmade guitar from scratch to your specifications and style. In making custom guitars it is all about finding out what the customer wants. It is not about me imposing my will or style on them but I will make suggestions of what I think is appropriate for the individual customer. The more information you can give me the more I can include it into your unique guitar.
I normally leave the phone on voicemail during the day as I want to work without constant interruptions and I pick up the messages, texts and emails in the evening. I do work from home and I am based in the Portsmouth area of the United Kingdom. The current waiting time is about five months for acoustics. Repairs are fitted into the work schedule.
